ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Fire Department battled three fires in less than an hour early Tuesday morning, two of them leading to people being taken to the hospital.
The most recent fire broke out around 2 a.m. at a two-and-a-half-story home on Culver Road near Hinsdale Street, across from Cobbs Hill Park. Fire officials say two people were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
Before that, a fire broke out at an apartment unit on Monroe Avenue just after 1 a.m. Residents had to evacuate from all 10 apartment units in the building. News10NBC is working to learn if anyone was hurt.
Five minutes before that, calls came in for a fire at a home on Weaver Street. Crews helped multiple kids get outside the house, and they were taken to the hospital. We’re working to get an update on any possible injuries.
