ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The City of Rochester says Genesee Street south between West Main and Clifton Streets is closed for repairs after a water main break.
The city says construction is expected to be done by the end of Tuesday, and residential water hasn’t been affected. Check back later to see when the road reopens.
Previous water main breaks in Rochester
News10NBC last reported on a water main break in the city in March on Winton Road between Highland Avenue and San Gabriel Drive. There was also a break on Cobbs Hill Drive between Hillside and Norris drives.

This winter, the Rochester area had more than a dozen water main breaks, being more common amid freezing temperatures.
