ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester police say they responded to the area of Waring Road and Lyceum Street for a reported crash involving a motorcycle on Saturday.

Officers say a 40-year-old Rochester woman, who was the rider of the motorcycle, was going north on Waring Road when a van turned onto the road from Lyceum Street, causing the crash.
Police say the motorcycle was hit from behind, causing the rider to fall and slide into a curb.
The rider was later taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, police added.
The driver of the van, a 66-year-old Rochester man, was not injured, police mentioned.
No one was ticketed.
