HENRIETTA, N.Y. — A man was sentenced Tuesday morning after a judge found him guilty of killing his parents and his sister inside a Henrietta home.
During a bench trial, a judge found Rajab Banahi guilty of murder and aggravated criminal contempt in the January 2023 stabbing at his parents’ home on Kathy Drive. Tuesday morning, he was sentenced to life in prison without parole.
Sheriff’s deputies say Banahi called 911 after stabbing his parents, Ali and Mastorra Banahi, to death. His sister, Masuda Banahi, was injured in the attack and taken to the hospital for emergency surgery. She died days later.

Before the killings, Banahi served time for assaulting his father at the same home 18 months earlier and assaulting a Strong Hospital employee in 2021. His sentencing will be in Monroe County Court.
