ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Ford Street Bridge in Rochester is back open after it was partially blocked off by the Rochester Police Department.
Our crew near the scene heard what sounded like gunshots go off around 4:10 p.m. Tuesday followed by sirens. Here’s what the scene looked like around 4:30 p.m.
RPD patrol cars were there and our photojournalist saw an AMR vehicle, too. RPD cars are still at the scene, so drive carefully if you’re in the area.
Police haven’t confirmed why exactly the bridge was blocked off, but we are working to learn more.
This story will be updated as more information becomes available. Check back for updates.
