Australia fines Alcoa $38 million to clear up site of bauxite mine

 

SYDNEY, Feb 18 (Reuters) – Australia’s environment ministry on Wednesday said Alcoa will pay A$55 million ($38.86 million) to clean up a site in the state of Western Australia where it had a bauxite mine.

($1 = 1.4152 Australian dollars)
