Lollypop Farm seizes 74 animals from home in Chili

 

CHILI, N.Y. — Lollypop Farm says 74 animals were seized from a home in Chili following an investigation into reports of animal cruelty and neglect.

On Tuesday, Lollypop’s Humane Law Enforcement investigators executed a search warrant at a home on Bellmawr Drive.

Investigators say based on conditions of the home, it was determined to be necessary to immediately remove the animals from the home in order to protect their health and well-being.

According to Lollypop, a total of 72 cats and two dogs were removed from the home and brought to Lollypop. All the animals are getting comprehensive veterinary evaluations and ongoing care, Lollypop says.
