(SRN NEWS)- In 2015 the Supreme Court legalized gay marriage and Episcopal leaders rejoiced. The bells of the great national Cathedral in Washington D.C. pealed in celebration. At the time the denomination boasted 1.8 million members. What followed was an exodus the likes of which Episcopal leaders must not have seen coming. The decision to embrace homosexual unions has cost the church 350,000 members in 10 years, according to the latest statistics.
