(SRNN NEWS)- Leaders of the denomination say they will gather in Minnesota this fall to mark the 50th anniversary of a resolution that for all intents and purposes declared that homosexuality was no longer a sin. This led inevitably to the ordination of gay priests by the Episcopa Church, the blessing of same-sex marriage and a split in the denomination that greatly reduced its membership, wealth and property. Critics question what there is to celebrate.
