ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A man accused of killing a woman in Rochester over 30 years ago is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
Investigators found the body of Victoria Jobson in a frozen field off Lyell Avenue in December 1992. The suspect, Arthur Jason Jr., was arrested last November.
News10NBC spoke to the victim’s daughter, Keisha Washington, during a coat drive held in her memory last December about her hopes for justice.
“We’ll continue to do this. Prior to this, we were doing this hoping someone would come forward. We got that answer and now we’re just hoping to warm the streets and keep my mom’s name alive,” said Washington.
Jason, who has pleaded not guilty to murder, is scheduled for a motions hearing in Monroe County Court. Another man was taken into custody in connection with Jobson’s murder. News10NBC is working to learn if he has been formally charged.
