About the Show
Brian O’Neil started working in radio as a control board operator in 1981. He has been doing reporter work for Wlea since 2005. Brian covers news in Steuben County with a focus on the Canisteo Valley area.
During these two decades, he has interviewed: Bill O’Reilly, Fred Dicker (NY Post) Aaron Katersky(ABC News Radio) Liz Benjamin(Spectrum News, Albany, NY) Jim Bohannon, Bob Van Voris(Bloomberg News) Governors Andrew Cuomo, Kathy Hochul, Eliot Spitzer, David Paterson and many representatives in Congress and Senate.
Brian O’Neil credits the late Kevin Doran and former Wlea newsroom reporter Jonathan Mark for their help and on the job training. Brian is proud to be part of the WYSL team.
