ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A 29-year-old man is headed to prison after being convicted on various drug and gun charges.
Todd Romig was sentenced 12 years in prison. Federal prosecutors say between June 2024 and April 2025, Romig worked with others to sell marijuana. He would get multi-pound quantities of high-end marijuana and resold it to customers at a markup.
On April 10, 2025, Rochester Police responded to a report of shots fired inside Romig’s apartment on Monroe Avenue near Dartmouth Street. After searching the apartment on a warrant, police say they found a rifle, about 34 pounds of marijuana, two magazines, and over $50,000 in cash.
