ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Fire Department responded to Alphonse Street around 4:45 p.m. on Friday for a house fire. The front of the house has significant damage due to the fire, RFD reported.
Our photojournalist went to the scene, and we were told by RFD that no one was injured and the fire has since been put out.
No one was home when the fire happened, firefighters say.


RFD also said the fire report was called in by a nearby family member of the home owners impacted.
