ROCHESTER, N.Y. — On Saturday from noon to 4 p.m., Rochester Animal Services, located at 184 Verona St., is holding dog adoptions. Approved adopters can get a dog for free.
Currently, 15 dogs are available for adoption at Rochester Animal Services. The dogs will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped as part of the adoption process. Dogs who’ve already been spayed or neutered can go to their new homes the same day
This is a part of the BISSELL Pet Foundation “Empty the Shelters” program. It works with organizations from across the U.S. to reduce adoption fees and to make pet adoption more accessible.
“In Rochester, every pet deserves a safe and loving home,” said the City’s Director of Animal Services Staci Papadoplos. “Thanks to the BISSELL Pet Foundation, ‘Empty the Shelters’ provides a great opportunity to connect more of our pets with loving families, while making adoption financially accessible.”
