ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Airport Marriott is facing foreclosure.
The hotel is at the center of a new lawsuit filed in Monroe County. Documents show the owner took out a $14.5 million loan but stopped making payments late last year.
The lender says the loan is now in default. It is asking a judge to force a sale of the property.
That could mean the hotel is auctioned to a new owner. For now, the hotel remains open as the case moves through court.
