ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Registration is now open for this year’s “Walk to End Alzheimer’s” in Rochester.
The walk, hosted by the Alzheimer’s Association, will be taking place on Saturday, Oct. 3, at ESL Ballpark. Alongside walking, the event will offer refreshments, entertainment, community resources, and more.
There will also be a walk held at Finger Lakes Community College on Saturday, Sept. 26. Day of registration for both walks is at 9 a.m. Opening ceremonies will be at 10 a.m.
The annual event aims to help find a cure for the disease. Last year, over 1,000 people participated in the walk, and more than $330,000 was raised.
