ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Radio Hall of Fame inductee Brother Wease announced on Thursday morning that Thursday’s show will be his last on 95.1
On Thursday’s show, Wease thanked loyal listeners and colleagues who have supported him for over 40 years.
A Facebook post teased the announcement would come around noon, but Wease broke the news around 11 a.m.
“So, what’s happening is that this is my last show,” he said. “This is my last show after doing talk shows for 40 years.”
Wease was inducted into the Rochester Music Hall of Fame in 2023 and the National Radio Hall of Fame in 2021.
