ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester police say they’re investigating a murder after finding a man dead at an apartment on North Union Street on Friday.
Officers were called to the apartment at 149 North Union St. around 11:50 a.m. after getting a report of someone possibly dead inside one of the apartment’s rooms.
The body of Marc Stekloff, 77, was found, police say.
Police will not release the cause of Stekloff’s death, but reported that he was murdered. He was found originally found by a friend, who went to check on him after not answering his phone, according to police.
