ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The newly renovated Kanatota Lodge in Webster Park opened on Monday.
The lodge’s original two separate rental facilities were converted into one unified lodge.
“As we approach our County Parks system’s 100th anniversary, we are investing in accessible infrastructure to ensure our parks can be enjoyed by Monroe County residents and visitors for another 100 years,” said County Executive Bello.
The project is part of the County Executive’s “Go Outside Monroe Initiative,” a $16.6 million investment in Monroe County parks system. Go Outside Monroe has renovated and improved the County’s 22 parks, focusing on increasing ADA accessibility leading up to the Monroe County Parks system 100-year anniversary in 2026.

Other ADA accessible projects and amenities recently added to Monroe County parks include an accessible canoe and kayak launch at Churchville Park and inclusive spray park and accessible playground at Ontario Beach Park.
Kanatota Lodge is now available for rentals.
