New York State’s first cannabis growers showcase held at Lincoln Hill Farms Sunday

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — Evergreen Retail and Sunwalker Farms and others came together to host the first legal cannabis showcase in New York State Sunday.

The showcase was held at Lincoln Hill Farms. Attendees had the chance to buy small batch, farm-to-table cannabis and cannabis products from 12 local farmers.

Owner of Lincoln Hill Brian Mastrosimone says it is a huge deal for them to host this event, and to stay local.

“Its so fortunate that New York State allowed this to happen,” said Mastrosimone. “This is the first one in New York State, the growers showcase, and we’re super excited to be able to break that history here.”

Sunday’s showcase marks the first in a series of approved cannabis showcase events under New York’s Cannabis Law.

Local farmers at the showcase emphasized how important events like these are for small businesses.

“To have the opportunity to come out and meet people face-to-face and talk with people, kind of give them our story, it really is huge for us,” said Bryce Serpe, owner of Circle Hill Rosin.
