ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A motorcyclist is hospitalized with serious injuries after a crash at an intersection on Rochester’s southwest side on Tuesday night.
Rochester Police say a car was turning from Bartlett Street onto Reynolds Street when it collided with the motorcycle around 9:15 p.m. News10NBC’s photojournalist saw both the car and the motorcycle damaged, with debris scattered.
An ambulance took the motorcyclist to Strong Memorial Hospital, and he is expected to survive. RPD says the car initially left the scene, but called 911 soon after. Police say the driver is cooperating and there were no signs of impairment. Police are still investigating the crash.
