BETHANY, N.Y. — A motorcyclist is dead after a crash in the Town of Bethany in Genesee County on Monday night.
The crash happened just after 10 p.m. on Route 63. Genesee County sheriff’s deputies say an SUV tried to pass a couple of tractor-trailers that had slowed down for a farm vehicle, when the SUV hit the motorcyclist head-on.
The man on the motorcycle, from Livingston County, died at the scene. Deputies say the SUV driver will likely face charges for passing a double solid line. Deputies haven’t released the victim’s name yet.
