ROCHESTER, NY — The Memorial Art Gallery (MAG) will host its annual Pride Celebration Day on Thursday, July 9, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The event is free and open to all, inviting the Rochester community to come together in the Neighborhood of the Arts for a “celebration of acceptance, art, and community joy.” Anyone attending the event is encouraged to wear Pride or rainbow attire and can enjoy free museum admission and a full lineup of activities for all ages.
Activities include:
- Live music by the Flower City Pride Band
- Drag Story Hour
- Drag performances
- Hands-on arts and crafts
- Community resource tables
- Festive treats
Museum galleries will close at 8 p.m. and outdoor activities and entertainment will continue till 9 p.m.
