Prosecutors say on April 21, 2024, Mark Burdick got into an argument with Myron Fair outside Pinnacle Place Apartments on South Clinton Avenue and stabbed him.
Fair was brought to Strong Memorial Hospital, where he died from his injuries. Shortly after his death, family and friends gathered to release balloons in his memory.
“Great father, great person, loving friend, just an all-around good individual, who didn’t deserve to go out the way things happened,” Gary Potter said at the balloon release.
Burdick was convicted of murder by a jury in July for Fair’s death.
