Oct 12 (Reuters) – Kroger is planning to cut about a third of its corporate roles over the next three years as CEO Greg Foran moves to adopt AI into the grocer’s workflow, Bloomberg News reported on Monday, citing a memo.
Kroger did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
Kroger should reduce duplicative work, and the company was increasingly using artificial intelligence to make its workflow more efficient, Foran said in the memo, according to the Bloomberg report.
