ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Fall is here, and the City of Rochester will soon be collecting loose leaves around the city.
The city will start picking them up on Monday, Nov. 2. The city has a fall leaf collection map that you can access by clicking here.
The first area for curbside leaf pickup is marked in pink on the map, followed by the green area starting the week of Nov. 9 and the blue area beginning Nov. 16.
People should rake leaves into the green space between the sidewalk and curb before their scheduled week.
Each year, loose leaves are picked up in November, composted, screened, and made available to the public through the Materials Give Back Program.
