The biggest reason for the new turf is its stability, which is an improvement from the previous rolled turf that began to fray at the edges.
The turf also signifies the start of the season coming closer, with the Knighthawks home opener set for Saturday, Nov. 28 and the team feeling the excitement, especially with the new logo front and center on the brand new turf.

“We’re really excited to kind of get back to our roots and take these next steps forward with the purple and teal, and seeing the turf down and the paint in the hallways, it’s a really exciting time getting ready for camp here,” said Ryland Rees.
The Knighthawks hope the new turf will help set the stage for a strong start at home.
