RICHMOND, N.Y. — A new festival was introduced in Ontario County Sunday. The first Honeoye Lake Strawberry Festival was held along Main Street.
It brought people together to shop with vendors, listen to live music and take part in activities.
Many visitors gravitated to the car show. Classic cars were in the parking lot with their hoods popped open so people could check them out.
“The town was really hungry for something fun to do and we’re psyched, we’re really happy,” said Amy Linehan, committee leader for vendors.
Linehan owns Reed Homestead. She said the plan is to continue holding the festival on the last Sunday of June going forward.
