HENRIETTA, N.Y. — Around 3 p.m. on Saturday, the Henrietta Fire District said they went to I-90 westbound in the area of Mile Marker 369, between Henrietta and LeRoy, for a serious crash involving an SUV towing a boat and two motorcycles. This led to four people being taken to the hospital, the fire district reported.
Firefighters say an SUV that was towing a boat hit two motorcycles, for a total of four riders being involved in the crash. This led to two riders being trapped under the boat, firefighters added.
The four riders were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for moderate to serious injuries, HFD said.
New York State Police and CHS Mobile Integrated Healthcare also went to the scene.
State police are investigating the crash, and the left lane on I-90 west has been reopened, according to HFD.
