ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Flower City Tattoo Convention is underway, bringing together top tattoo artists from around the world.
The convention was founded by tattoo artist Rob DiPiazza and has grown into one of the fastest-growing tattoo events in the Northeast. Hundreds of artists are gathering to showcase styles ranging from American traditional to Japanese and neo-traditional.
The event celebrates artistry, culture and community in Rochester.

“It’s that interpersonal exchange that you are working on me and I’m trusting you to do a good job, and also I’m working on you and I’m spending my time to give you something that makes you happy the rest of your life hopefully,” said Jessyka Stromo, operations manager of the convention.
The convention took place on Friday and Saturday, and goes until 8 p.m. on Sunday at the Riverside Convention Center.
