YATES COUNTY, N.Y. — A former co-owner and operator of the historic Esperanza Mansion pleaded guilty to fourth-degree grand larceny for the theft of COVID-era Paycheck Protection Program funds.

The Yates County District Attorney’s Office told News10NBC that Todd Alexander entered his plea in court Wednesday afternoon, resolving all charges against him, co-defendant Mary Olivo and Esperanza Mansion LLC. The deal requires restitution of more than $320,000 to multiple victims.
Sentencing is set for Aug. 5.
