Deputies: Woman faces charges after deputies find over 30 neglected animals at Steuben County home

STEUBEN COUNTY, N.Y. — A Steuben County woman is facing animal cruelty charges after more than 30 animals were found in poor conditions at her home.

Sheri King is charged with overdriving, torturing and injuring animals. Deputies responded to her home on Hillside Lane in Avoca in April.

Investigators say King failed to properly house, feed and water the animals. This led to serious health issues for multiple dogs.

All the animals were removed for treatment.
