GENEVA, N.Y. — Charges are expected after a failed traffic stop ended in a crash Saturday evening.
Yates County Sheriff’s deputies said they tried to pull over two motorcycles on State Route 14 in the Town of Torrey just after 5 p.m. Saturday. Instead, the motorcycles took off, getting to Ontario County before crashing into the back of another car in Geneva.
Both men have serious injuries but will recover at Strong Memorial Hospital, deputies say. No one in the other car was hurt.
The two men are from Binghamton.
