CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — A 44-year-old Canandaigua woman has been sentenced to prison for stealing thousands from her employer.
Monique Barrette-Lewis is sentenced to seven and a half to 15 years in prison. She was convicted of two counts of grand larceny and scheme to defraud.
Between October 2023 and April 2024, prosecutors say Barrette-Lewis stole over $75,000 using her employer’s business credit cards for her own personal benefit.
