CLARKSON, N.Y. — Deputies say a crash between an SUV and a tractor-trailer led to the driver of the SUV dying of his injuries at the hospital.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash at the intersection of Route 104 and Monroe-Orleans County Line Road in Clarkson on Sunday afternoon.
Deputies say the SUV failed to yield right-of-way to the tractor-trailer. The driver of the SUV was taken to a hospital, but later died, according to deputies.
Our photojournalist went to the area, and he saw that significant parts of the roadway were closed. The road closure is also near Redman Road.
