PITTSFORD, N.Y. — Nazareth University says it’s on solid financial footing after S&P Global Ratings reaffirmed the school’s BBB-plus credit rating with a stable outlook.
S&P said it expects Nazareth to maintain stable enrollment over the next two years and balance its budget by fiscal 2027. The university’s new president, Dr. Maureen Finney, took office July 1.
Nazareth says deposits from incoming students are above budget targets. Officials say the rating reflects strong financial stewardship.
