MEDINA, N.Y. — A family is safe but lost their pets after a house fire early Saturday morning.
The fire happened on Prospect Avenue. The fire chief says eight of Orleans County’s 11 fire departments rushed to the scene.
Crews worked to protect nearby homes as the three-alarm fire grew. What caused the fire is under investigation.
