ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Shannon Reinholtz Tuesday was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for the stabbing death of James Wooden at Durand Eastman Park more than four years ago.

Officers discovered Wooden’s body on Zoo Road in September 2021. He had been stabbed more than 40 times.

Reinholtz was convicted of murder in 2023. Her sentencing was delayed due to an application under the Domestic Violence Survivors Justice Act, which was ultimately denied.

Another suspect, Kristen Krueger, received a 10-year sentence, officials said.
