Yellow Alert Tuesday: Windy and warm weather with a strong to severe threat Tuesday

 

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Threat Tracker has a Yellow Alert for Tuesday with some gusty thunderstorms developing. Need to keep an eye to the sky for heavy rain, lightning and strong wind gusts in any storms that move through during the day. At this time, it does not appear to be a widespread severe threat. Any outdoor plans tomorrow be prepared for some heavy weather at times Tuesday.

For Monday we are looking at some windy and warm weather with a few passing showers but lots of dry time as well. Temps will be in the 60s and 70s with a few raindrops this morning and then mostly cloudy skies into the afternoon with an isolated shower or rumble of thunder later in the day. Gusts will increase to near 40mph late morning into the afternoon. Storm threat on Tuesday and then more showers and possible thunder Wednesday and Thursday with warmer than normal weather. Showers and thunder possible this weekend as a cold front moves through the region on Saturday followed by cooler conditions next week. Stay tuned to News10 for latest on severe threat Tuesday.
