Two students injured after object shatters school bus window

 

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Police tell us two students are hurt after someone threw an object at a school bus that shattered the window Friday afternoon.

Police say it happened near Hudson Avenue and Upper Falls Boulevard around noon.

Officers tell us someone threw a large object at the window of a school bus with students on board. They say the person ran away from the scene soon after.

Two students, 14 and 15, have minor lacerations from the broken glass. An ambulance gave them first aid at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing, and RPD asks anyone with information to call 911.
