ROCHESTER, N.Y. – At least two people were hospitalized Saturday night following a road rage incident in the city.

Rochester police said it began around 5:45 p.m. on Monroe Avenue and ended near the intersection of Highland Avenue.

A man in a Jeep followed a group of dirt bikes and ATVs down the road, officers said.

At one point, the Jeep driver chased them off the road near Cobbs Hill Park. The situation ended when the Jeep lost control, hit a fire hydrant, and drove away.

Two dirt bike riders were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Their dirt bikes were street legal and were not towed.

The Jeep driver was later found and arrested.
