ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The trial for the man accused of killing a 29-year-old local musician over three years ago started Tuesday.

Rahjule Keeton is charged with second-degree murder and robbery in the death of James Hallenbeck. Keeton is accused of shooting Hallenbeck after robbing him on Olean Street in August 2022.

Keeton was arrested last November by U.S. Marshals. At the time of his arrest, police said the case involves two suspects, and the search for the second suspect was ongoing.
