Tour de Cure: Rochester cyclists unite to raise funds for diabetes awareness

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — People in Rochester and across the country are gearing up for the annual Tour de Cure, a bike ride dedicated to diabetes awareness. The event raises hundreds of thousands of dollars for the American Diabetes Association.

News10NBC visited Rochester’s Midtown Athletic Club on Wednesday to meet the Giggles Cycling Group. The team leader expressed optimism about the group’s efforts, saying they are all working towards the same goal.

Giggles Cycling Group rides all-year-round.

The Tour de Cure is in the Finger Lakes Region (Stokoe Farms, 656 South Rd.) on June 6.
