WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. — The annual Fire and Ice Celebration, hosted by Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel, is set to take place on Thursday and runs through Saturday. The celebration will be open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. each of the three days.
The event raises awareness and benefits New York families facing pediatric cancer.
Tickets are $45.57 per person, 21 years or older, and a portion of the proceeds will go towards benefitting families dealing with pediatric cancer, called “T-Burg Takes On Pediatric Cancer.”
Tickets are available to see:
- More than 40,000 lbs. of ice sculptures and other works
- Fire pits
- Firework displays
- Food and drinks such as beers, wines, chili, and chowder, among other items.
The on-site ice carving starts on Thursday morning ahead of the event.
“T-Burg Takes On Pediatric Cancer” comes from Trumansburg residents who saw children battle cancer, aiming to ease financial strains on families.
