ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The First Alert Weather Team is tracking a snow/rain mix that could make for a difficult Tuesday morning commute.
The York, Dansville, and Le Roy school districts have all canceled classes on Tuesday due to the weather. It comes the day before the start of winter recess, which starts on Christmas Eve for all three districts.
In Livingston County, the sheriff’s office is advising people to slow down on the roads because of slushy spots and to avoid unnecessary travel. The sheriff’s office says the western side and the southern end of the county are especially slick.
Things will calm down by the afternoon as the mix changes to rain only. See our latest forecast here and see the latest list of school closings here.
