SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. — Two people from Honeoye and one from Livingston County are among the victims after a boat flipped during a storm on Lake Tahoe in California.
The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office released the names of the eight victims on Tuesday. The 27-foot boat flipped on Saturday on the lake’s southwest edge as a storm brought high waves. Here are the victims’ names:
- Theresa Giullari, 66, from Honeoye
- James Guck, 69, from Honeoye
- Stephen Lindsay, 63, from Springwater
- Paula Bozinovich, 71, from Redwood City, Calif
- Terry Pickles, 73, from Redwood City, Calif
- Joshua Antony Pickles, 37, from San Francisco, Calif
- Peter Bayes, 72, from Lincoln, Calif
- Timothy O’Leary, 71, from Auburn, Calif
