BARRINGTON, N.Y. — Three people, including a child, were hospitalized with serious injuries after a crash involving a horse and buggy in Yates County.
The Yates County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened on Sunday afternoon on 6 Corners Road between Haley Hill Road and Bossard Road in the Town of Barrington.
Officials said a woman driving a car hit the horse and buggy from behind. A man, woman, and child in the buggy were ejected and flown to the hospital.
The horse was seriously injured and had to be put down by a veterinarian, officials said.
