ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Three people are facing charges in connection to a shot firing off during an argument on Sunday.
Police say a group of people were fighting on Bidwell Terrace when a shot rang out. Officers say the suspect drove off in a blue Ford Explorer. Officers found the SUV stopped on Driving Park, detained the three people inside, and searched the SUV.
They found a loaded handgun inside while searching.
Police say 25-year-old Shyi Sims fire the shot during the argument, and was sitting in the passenger seat. He’s charged with criminal possession of a weapon and prohibited use of a weapon.
Two other people, Lashanda Johnson and Frederick Johnson also face criminal possession of a weapon charges. Lashanda is also charged with criminal impersonation.
