Suspect wanted in Rochester, Greece, and Indiana arrested by RPD after police chase

 

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man wanted in various jurisdictions was arrested Friday night after leading Rochester Police on a chase that ended on Titus Avenue in Irondequoit.

According to police, at around 6:45 p.m. Friday, they tried to stop a car on Alexander Street, as the driver had multiple wants and warrants. They say the driver didn’t pull over, which started a chase.

The chase ended on Titus Avenue, as police say the driver decided to pull over. The driver was taken into custody and is charged with various domestic related offenses such as assault, criminal mischief, and unlawful imprisonment.

Police say the man was already being sought by RPD and Greece Police for prior domestic offenses, and the state of Indiana for extraditable domestic battery offenses.
