ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Regional Health is eliminating some “non-patient-facing roles”, the health system has confirmed.
RRH announced the layoffs on Tuesday. News10NBC is working to learn how many workers are being laid off. A spokesperson described it as a “limited number.”
As News10NBC has reported, RRH has been working to cut its spending and recruit and retain more nurses. In a statement about the layoffs, RRH says: “Staying true to our mission, our focus on adding more access for patients and building a sustainable future remains our top priority.”
